| February 2009 Update WOW!!! Three weeks ago I didn't even dare to dream of how well Brad is doing now. For months it seemed the days were long, dark and dismal. Praise God, Brad is so much better. Currently he has no drains, no antibiotics, no pain. He has begun to walk 3 miles every other day. One and a half miles up the mountain and one and a half miles back. He is weight lifting to get his muscle tone back.Unknown to me till later, he even split wood by hand. Yes, he did get a growl from me but in my heart I was glad. We sang yesterday, Feb. 8th, morning and night. We were prayed up, filled up and excited and God was there. Such a gentle, yet strong presence. We serve the Almighty Creator of the world. Why should He take time for us? One reason and it's enough, He loves us. Though I would never count myself worthy to compare myself to the apostle Paul I do understand how his heart felt when he wrote of his longing to see the saints at the churches. Yesterday we saw many of you again and it felt so good. You put your arms around us. You encouraged us. You pray constantly for us. We love you so much and we are grateful. We know as we endeavor to share the gospel in places that may not so readily recieve us, we have brothers and sisters in Christ who've got our backs. We have you! Jesus is coming soon. Until then, just as Brad continues to climb the mountain and get stronger out of mere determination, keep pressing on! Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.-Philippians 3:14 |
