Hello dear friends,
Many of you have prayed continually for us and we are so grateful. I do not
have good news, nor have I had the frame of mind nor strength to sugar coat the
state we are currently in. Brad's gall-bladder cancer has manifested in two areas.
It is now in his lung and he once again has a tumor in his abdomen. The tumor in
his abdomen is the size of about a half dollar. He has begun chemo-therapy and
will continue once a week three weeks in a row with the fourth week off, then start
all over again for about 2-3 months. The doctors give him 4 months to live without
chemo and 6 months to a year to live with chemo. God already has Brad's days
numbered. Before the foundation of the earth God knew all about Brad and how
He would use Brad to fulfill His purposes. Brad has been faithful and will be faithful
to the end. Whether the end be soon or many years from now God knows and
there in is our comfort.
We have told the boys and they have cried many tears. Wayde is strong and
courageous. Skylar struggles to understand. Skylar and daddy are very closely
bonded. Please, please pray they feel God's arms around them as their hearts
ache through still more pain in their lives.
I have had chest pains and numbness in my arms and legs. The doctor says it
is depression and has begun a series of meds to help me get through. I do feel
better. God has also sent a little angel into our lives who has been a great help to
me. Some day I will talk more of her.
This picture was taken in Maine. God blessed us with a week in Maine in mid
November. We had a wonderful time. This particular picture was taken a Schoodic
point, Acadia National park on a stormy grey dreary day. For this brief moment as
we stood there the sun placed a spot-light of warmth  on the tossing ocean. As it
moved toward where we stood it was a glimmer of hope to our weary hearts. How
amazing our Lord is to take time to encourage us with such an awesome show of
His power.
He moved the sky and sea to bless little me.
